Victory owners use a unique terminology for things like Slip-ons,
Mufflers & Air cleaner-intakes. It kind of reminds me of the Crips
& Bloods.

So anyway, understanding that Zero does not have a value, and
since you ascend in your numbering, what our My Visions numbers?
Stage .01 & Level .01?

Actually I think they borrowed this stage business from HOG.

Specific, you say? I've seen different "Stage" kits available for just about any type of performance vehicle. Hell, there are even various "Stage" kits available for my Jeep, although they refer to off-road performance.

Based on nothing much, you are probably presently at Stage .09, level 1.

Called the dealer today. Level 1 pipes due in this week. Level 2 pipes pushed back to Feb. Here we go again. I decided to wait for the level 2s. For the extra $100 might as well go with the 2s. (hard HD habit to break)

I have level 1 and it sounds like a stock honda v-twin. I hope the level 2 is louder like you would expect an american v-twin to sound.

I have the Stage 1 Level 1 and believe it sounds good, with just the right amount of rumble for me on an American touring bike. I had a Kingpin with Stage 1 slip on's it and have been told by Victory that the level 2 sounds very much like the Stage 1 I had on my Kingpin. It is a very good sound and louder than the Level 1 on my Vision. But, after +30k on the Kingpin and because I'm planning to do more touring on this bike, I'm glad Victory has given us the choice. I'm sure everyone waiting for the Level 2 will love it, but maybe not after a 600 mile day. I like the Level 1, "Giddy-up".

I had the "stage 1" upgrades to the HD, but since I traded that in to help me get the Vision, I have no desire to make the Vision louder, or gain more horse power. I'm pretty happy with the "Factory Custom" Vision Premium Tour. Does this mean I'm finally getting old? I could barely afford the stage 1 for the Hog, but did it. I'm financially way better off now, and like the scoot just the way it is.. I must be getting old!

It's an individual thing. I don't think it's a bad thing, I'm just really satisfied with the way it currently sounds. L.A. traffic, I don't think it matters if you had a semi truck honker on your bike, those people are self absorbed idiots. Cj,,,,I didn't mean to start it, but you mentioned it, and you have to ride in it. Man, the weather just "blows" up here. Literally! I still rode to work.

My mind has become numb to most of it and then some one does something I never thought possible.
I tried the little recorded exhaust sounds at V-twin and I cant tell the diffrence between 1 & 2. 2's are a lot lighter.
Im mainly intrested in the re-cal. to see if there is an improvement. Im taking my old pipes home just in case. I thought about Lloydz.
But I got the 5 yr. warr. I dont want to screw that up. thanks to luzzy I know the VFC will work with the victory down load and I can remove it if needed. Im not looking to spend a ton of money on this bike and I do like the quiet. A little more rumble would be nice. Nothing ear splitting.

Buckeye, Isn't your hearing the second thing to go! I would then think at your age level 1 stage 1 would sound like stock. I'm a lot older than you, so I'm going for 1 stage2.

any level exhaust does no good for sound for me...if you will recall I retired from Marine ARTILLEY! Maybe thats why I don't mind my current pipes. I just read in Cruiser mag. that they are working on pipes that open the baffles with a toggle switch. I'm not sure if that will ever work due to the CPU's inability to adapt to the different air flow. I thought it was interesting and forward thinking. Can you imagine,,,your on "silencer" mode and a HD bubba pulls up beside and flexes his engine. You flex with the "silencer" then hit the toggle switch, and blow him away with open pipe air flow....they may get it to work.

Ther is stock, stage 1-level 1 and stage-1 level 2. There are also 49 state and 50 state (read CA) versions. Supposedly the diffrence between level 1 & 2 is the exhaust sound level. Dealer said the level 2 is pushed back to May. Im not going through this again. If the level 1 is available thats what Im going with.
Exit stage right (how many remember that?) Dating myself.

My dealer doesn't have the sound display either.

It would be nice if Victory could put the various stages into MP3 files so that we could compare them at home.
