I had one of these on my VTX mounted to the windshield. I'm a little reluctant to use suction cups on the Vision however I found that it will fit on the thin brushed aluminum strip above the passanger floorboard--a 16 oz. drink will rest on floorboard--a short will be be held in the net.

If I peel it off after every ride I don't think it would hurt the finish but I'm severly challanged about any aspects of finishings (or any other type of mechanical/electrical mattters).

For $6.95 you may find it worth a try.

Well, scratch that one, unless you've got a short can or find another place to mount it. Just took the bike out for a spin and the first time I goosed it my 16 oz Gatorade went bouncing down the road.

Go to the Gallery and have a look at my cup holder setup. It mounts using a ram mount and a single bolt to the bottom of the fuel cell (two pre-drilled holes on cell) and will fold completly out of view when not in use. Mines always in use, lol

Teach, do you have the ram part numbers, and a detail shot where you mounted to the bike?

I used a Ram-Mount cup holder mounted to the dash. It works great and looks pretty good as well. I didn't have a picture so I copied this one from GAgirlTrixie's gallery. She has the same mount installed in the same location.

Hope this helps.

You could also try the Kruzer Caddy and mount it on your handle bar.

I use the Ram Mount that replaces the bottom cap on the handle bar controls on the left bar. Works great. I got all the parts at the dealer and never lost a bottle yet (gator aid).

A guy I met who works for Victory part time advised me that the black caps on the master cylinder covers on the '09 models are there to cap off mirror mounts for other models and that a drink holder can easily be set up using the left (or right) one.  Anyone heard of this?

The whole reason they sell the ram ball seperatly. The 08 requires the clamp half to be purchsed so you can install the ram ball.

Shyster - yes, that is correct on the 09's as I was looking to get the ram mount for my 08. I looked at the 09 sitting right next to the accessories and thought this would work but realized I don't have a plugged hole or a hole! I've entertained drilling mine out to accomadate the mount, but yes, that will work for if you get one for your 09.

By  the way, I wish it was in the cover, but it is the housing itself that has the hole.

Does anyone have a picture of the holder mounted on an 08? I have the holder, clamp, and ram ball.

Return all that Ram mount stuff... Nothing beats the look and functionality of the Kruzer Kaddy. Make sure it's one with the new style large clamps...

Kruiser Kaddy works great. I have two. I emptied a plastic water bottle while riding and put it in the Kruiser Kaddy. Rode for 15 miles before I stopped. The light weight plastic bottle never wanted to lift out of the cup holder.

Here's the front cup holder on my 10th. I love it. It works well and is the same cup holder as the guy who has it attached to the dash or by the instruments. I will not get rid of it. You learn how much liquid to put in your cup, too high a level is not good. I wouldn't mind finding a weighted cup because you also don't want to drink all of the drink so you maintain a certain amount of weight in the cup. I know....blah, blah, blah! I still love the cup holder and now on my way home I can get the combo!

I also have a Kruzer kaddy attached to the rear grab handles!
