I must say first that I disliked the Vision since it's introduction. When Ness came out with his street version, I started to like the lines of the bike. Today, Saturday May 2nd I will be trading my 07 Hammer S for my 4th Victory a 09 Black Tour Premium.

I will say the Hammer is the best Victory I have owned, second to none. I am kind of a stuff person, and like having stuff with me just in case. The Hammer looks like shit with bags and being in Chicago, it just is not a great bike when it's cold out!!

My new bike is Black, I purchased the luggage rack and Sissy bar and all the stuff to make it look like a street. Stage 2 level 2 cans, the wind deflectors, highway pegs and I think thats about it so far. Been reading stuff on the site from the beginning, have a ton of ideas from all of you, thanks. This winter my plan is to have all the gray stuff either power coated or painted black. More later!!

I feel your sadness and the only remedy is get out and ride on that new Black Tour Premium. By the way, if you see Midnight Cherry blurs going by, well, it is easily explained, they are faster....

Welcome to Vision World!

Wow, what a change Frank! You had a sweet Hammer. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Vision. See you at the AVR!

Well I almost backed out of buying the Vision twice during my 80 something mile ride to pick it up. Man that Hammer ran sweet. Nate, I only took the oil temp dip-stick off the bike, everything else stayed on the bike.

OK, here are my first 130 mile impression of the Vision. (compared to my Hammer S)

Man this bike is HUGE. Did not realize this until I put in my garage.

I don't think the non brembo brakes work as well.

Less power (and Heavier) than the Hammer

The wind does effect the handling at speed. (Cross winds). Bike does handle well otherwise

Love the cruise control

The Tunes work fairly well for stock stuff, can hear well at 80.

Been riding to long with forward controls, need to move the floor boards up. The Highway pegs work well, not sure I like the way they are mounted.

The seat is GREAT!!! Seating position also seems good.

Have to read the owners manual, there is a lot of stuff on this bike.

I added the front wind deflectors, they really do the trick of getting cooling to your legs. I can see that they would work great in cold weather and rain.

Still not sold on the look of the trunk although it is functional.
