Posts: 520 Simi Valley, CA | So.... I had my Vision for three weeks, racked up 2000 miles on it, then I decide it needs some custom paint done to it..... I take off the side bag doors and center console I am with out my bike for 4 weeks now. God knows I don't want to rush the artist, but damn the weather has been beautiful and I wanna ride it! Luckily I still have my 04 Nomad and have been putting miles on it so I am not totally with out a ride, but I miss the Vision.
I went to the air brush artist yesterday to proof the work before clear coat is applied- here is a photo I took of my right side bag door and the center console- I used my iPhone.
Should have it back together Saturday!

I don't advertise either, and I'm strictly TOS trekkie if I can be called that cause I've never collected memorabilia or gone to any conventions. Love the show though and the orginial cast movies. I only want to see the new movie because it is the "before" period and to see how true they stay to the original show. I must say that cometman has done his Vision in great taste and hope to see it in person someday. Kirk out... I mean.. never mind. |
