Just got back from the Laughlin NV, River Run.

We saw quite a few Visions there including an Anniversary Edition.  Arlen Ness of Las Vegas had a booth there and a group of dealers had another booth there including Arizona Victory, CycleDragon of Cerritos, Bakersfield, etc.  Unfortunately, the Victory truck did not make an appearnace this year and was abscence was duely noted.  HD also didn't show up this year with their demo-ride truck.  If Victory would have showed, they could have stolen the show.

We also saw quite a few other Victory models there including a black cherry trike and various Ness models.

Sincerely,

Tim

I was there too. There were very few factory booths there. I agree, Victory could have stolen the show. Even Boss Hoss had demo rides at the Indian Casino, and no one lined up to ride. I think a lot of the factories are hurting.

Enjoy it while its there, cause i dont think it will be in a few years. Attendance is down from 70,000 before the H/A shooting to 30,000 the last few years and the booth spaces were down another 20%. Spoke to alot of venders and they said the only people making money are the beer and t shirt people. Plus there were at least 2 screw Laughlin runs one in lake hav. and the other in Vegas. Not looking good..

While I am sorry for the vendors, the price of attending any of the major runs has gotten outrageous. $200.00 a nite rooms, and over priced food and beverages.....dont know what the answere is but seems to me raising prices due to lower attendances in my mind means I am not gonna be there to fund everybody elses economic situations......just me though, i would rather ride where there are not a lot of people, enjoy the scenery, and not get raped for doing something I enjoy.
