Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | I bought my usual small frame at Wal-mart. The bottom is too big, hits the plastic, and it is a small frame.
Guess no dressing up for awhile. |

Posts: 293 Arkansas | I had one left over from a V92c; fits well. Even
the offset just below the reflector accomidates the rim.
Even has the Victory script on it. |

What about the fact that the Vision does not use the 2 upper holes. It is hard to find a frame with
just 2 holes. On that same page, there is a costly frame that runs $51.99. Look in the left middle. |

Posts: 47 Lake Park, GA | Rumor has it that Ness is releasing a frame that also covers the back of the plate (which is a terrible eye sore) Ness is saying that the Vision accessories will be available by the end of Dec. (I won't hold my breath though |

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | That is actually what I'm looking for, a frame with a back plate on it. I'm also, trying to figure out how to have the state inspection sticker attached on the frame. So I will probably see what Ness puts out. Otherwise I'll cook something up. |

| I did what Jama did...kept the one of the '99, with the Victory Script on it. Worked like it was made for it! |

I found one on the Victory website, under accessories, only place I've found these. They are made for the the earlier Victory bikes, but fit is really good. Looks very good, with the Victory script on it, makes it look just right. |

Posts: 266 Stockton, Ca. | I used the chrome American Eagle frame that I had on my Kingpin. Had to raise it up about 1/2 inch and redril for the mounting holes.
It just clears the fender and looks as natural as the original. The reflector is blocked a bit but is not noticable tucked under the top case. |

Posts: 320 Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | OOOOOw! I want one! Where did you find it? What did you wire it in to, the plate light? How much modifying did you have to do to make it fit? Ya know, I love my bike... walk around it and admire it alot when it's parked in front of my store (why the heck not... my hubby takes several smoke breaks an hour! hehe).... but I shudder when I look at that horrible plate frame! (Not the first bike I've had that came with an ugly frame. My 599 Hornet had a hideous one!) Oops, I'm babbling... sorry. And now back to your origionally scheduled program!

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | Sorry for the late reply!! Here is the link: http://www.qvsgadgetworld.com/motorcycle-license-plate-led-frame.ht...
I had seen many for so much more dollars, but this one works well. I will make a different mount for the plate mount.....backing plate? I hate the stock one! If you get this L.E.D. frame, you will need to remove the unit, and turn it 180 degrees, and re-install. It is held in the plastic frame by I think 6 clips that have to be pryed open while pushing upwards on the L.E.D. unit. It just snaps back in, tho. I think my next message will be..."The United States Air Force: 60 years of change uninterrupted by tradition" I work on a base, so it should get a few comments! LOL! Enjoy!-----Metalguy |
