| Hi - calling UK pilots!
As discussed previously in a UK thread, there is a rally hosted by Birmingham's Thunder Road:
25th and 26th April
The Annual Open House Weekend at the Arrow Mill.
Demo Rides on all models will be available.
See...http://www.victorythunderroad.com/coming_events.htm
It would be great to see the UK Vision Pilots there if possible? I'm clearing the Sunday to make it as I know uknessie may be joining the Freedom ride in on that day (I may catch you en route or at the show - more to follow)
Jacques - are you up for it? |

You just have to decide which one you want to use and then figure it out. Picture Manager has a edit picture button, and then you can compress for the Web. Depending on the orginal size and resolution, it should leave it large enough for all to enjoy. If you have any other photo editing program, it probably will have a step by step wizard for you. Ride safe and enjoy. |

| Hi - thanks for the advice: I use a Mac!!!! Problem solved though - I have written a little automator script which does the job so all prepared for heavy duty posting of pics post show!
Great news uknessie! As soon as I figure out plans here I'll let you know what we're ding. We'll be there on Sunday regardless, but if we can hook up with you as you ride in that would be fun! I spoke with Gil at Thunder Road yesterday - he has at least two visions going (the shop demonstrator and one he sold last year). If I can convince Claycross to take their demonstrator we should have quite a showing!
I have a free day today and was hoping for a ride out but woke up to wind and dull skies. Arse. Sometimes I wonder why I live in the UK!!!! |

Posts: 181 Henlow, Bedfordshire, England | This is sounding good, if we get a few this will surely be the largest gathering of visions in the uk and a large percentage of the total sold here? anyone know how many there are in the uk?
Jacques, are you riding up the A1? I live on the A1 nearly and could meet you (and anyone else) at Baldock for the shortish ride up to Brampton Hut about 30mins away. |

| Monday was a beautiful day! Hope you enjoyed the ride. What a great job that gives the opportunity to tour the Vision...so jealous!
This Sunday's forecast for Arrow Mill is 16-17 degrees (C!!!) and low wind (hurray!); so it'll be sun tan cream and relatively cold beers...

Doc, I was going to suggest a program called Imagewell. I have v 3.4.1 which is the free version. Anything newer I think you need to pay. Very easy to use.
Also Gimp is a free program to manipulate pictures, but it's like Photoshop, very intense.
But I see you did a script. Care to share? I'll swap you the Imagewell for it.
Thanks! A fellow Mac user. |
