Just got a magazine in the mail called Ultimate Motorcycling and while I don't really recommend the mag it did have a pretty good article in it about the Vision. What I found interesting is that Victory gave them a 10th anniversary to try out and do the article on. Then the other day I stop by my dealer in Cumming Georgia and he has 2 of them in the basement that Victory has been taking around the country to show off. These 2 were at Bike Week in Daytona and by letting anybody sit on them, both of them were beat up and scratched up pretty good. Just seems odd to me that they only built 100 of them and you had to win a lottery to be able to purchase one but the factory is wearing out 2 or 3 of them for marketing purposes. Next thing you know they will be sending one to VaParadox to try out free for a year or two...

I don't think Victory came even close to selling all of the 10th Annv bikes. This is of course is just a guess but my dealer said he could get one for me if I wanted one. It wasn't he "might" be able to.... My thoughts are that the bike is really expensive for someone who had been sitting on the fence and most of the folks who would have dropped the cash for one already own an 08 Vision. I'd like to have one myself, just can't justify the purchase when I have an 08 TP with only 13k on the odo. Of course I'd love to have the Ness sitting on the showroom floor as well but wouldn't give up my heated saddle & grips for nothing.

I have very little doubt that Victory had all 100 "pledge to buy" a 10th Anniversary Vision in 7 minutes. I wonder though if they didn't make a couple more, but that's not the point. If dealers snatched up on a few out of pocket, there is no doubt either there a few floating around without a proud owner, but they are out of Victory's inventory and at the dealer. Also, too me it is rather odd that they would take their NEW flagship and make it an Anniversary edition, when a KP or a remake of a 92 would have been really cool. By the way, I saw one sweet looking 2003 TC today and ached just to take a spin on it.

At the 10th anniversary last fall, a couple people from Victory said a few extra were made for publicity events, and touring events. One guy made it sound like you may see one at a show that has 103, as an example, for a serial number. I'm guessing the actual number produced were closer to 105 bikes.

I think Varyder is probably correct in that sveral "dealers" purchased one during the lottery so there are bikes available. If you look around the net there are several dealers advertising 10th models.

The 2 at the dealer were numbered in the 80's so they are part of the 100. He was requesting Victory to sell them to him as he had buyers lined up but he had not gotten a response at that time. I guess Victory was waiting to hear from VaParadox if he wanted one first....

Just saw my first 09 Premium up close and personal yesterday...chrome forks (not really just a strip of chrome...weak) and the billet wheels that you really can barely see because the front disc's cover up so much of the wheel...and the bags and sproket block the rear wheel...I'm glad a saved a bunch of $ and have an 08. Now up the ante even more for an annie...good luck. My dealer still has two new 2007 King Pins (nice looking) on the floor...Annie's might not be as hot as Vic had hoped.

Was searching Cycle-Trader yesterday I saw a 10th for sale at a dealer so some are still available. As far as the cost of the 10th......it is a bargan when compared to a Premium with all the options added, price it out an you will see that the 10th will come in about 2k less than a fully optioned Premium with the same options as the 10th. When I was at the AVR last year the 10th on display was numbered in the 80s, so that maybe one of the bikes shipped around for events.
I think the 10th did what Victory wanted it to do, promote it's new touring bike. I'd like to have one, but I'll keep my SSG for awhile longer!
