Posts: 65 Newburgh,IN | Hey Gang:
My Vision is almost a year old & I am going to get an Extended Warranty. Does anyone know what is covered on an Extended Warranty? Is a clutch covered?
Thanks

| Dave, all mechanical and electrical operated "factory-installed" parts. HOWEVER there is a very extensivelist of uncovered items in section 4 EXCLUSIONS, so you would be best served to swing by your dealer and have read through these exclusions. I would pay particular attention to item 10 which covers bikes altered with high performance items.... |

I recommend the factory extended warranty. A good relationship with your dealer helps also. Minor modifications that didnot cause the problem, but could void the warranty, are overlooked when you have a good dealer. Everyone knows how much you spent on the warranty, and they expect X% of failures. If 100% buy and only 10% use it, they make money. And you feel better knowing that you dont have to find the money for repairs. If you dont use it, think of it as insurance, how many years have you paid insurance? How many times have you used it? If you dont have it though.....
