Well I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a Vision TP on Saturday. I have been looking off and on at Victory for the past 4 years and finally found the ride that fits my needs. Power, comfort, looks (although some scoff at the looks), and the wonderful adjustable windshield. I had the LV1 Stg 1 mod, the trunk carpet (on order), and the trunk mirror for my precious, added. What an incredible ride. The test ride never really does justice to the capabilities of the bike like spending some serious time in the saddle does. I believe the wife and I are really going to enjoy our time on the Vision.

We are looking at attending the the US Rider News Rally in Helen GA in June and hope to meet some of you there.

Special thanks to Jeff at Victory Polaris of Cumming GA for making the purchase so enjoyable.

Welcome Candyman. Laura & I will see you at Helen in June. Just "ride it like you stole it" 'til then. Correction: easy throttle for the 1st 200 miles, then more & more 'til you do the 500 service - then RILYSI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the brotherhood. Which color did you buy? I bought mine from Jeff about 2 weeks ago and was a great experience. He really is a great guy to deal with.

We bought the Dark Cherry. I have been working on the road since early 05 and had sold the 02 1800 VTX. I am not traveling now and the fever had overtaken me. The wife tolerates my child like enthusiasim. I hope to see you at the Helen event also.

My wife wants that mirror also what's up with that. Plus she rides her own bike LOL but for $49.00 it's not going to happen for hunk that small. Now if I could get it for like $29.00 then i would do it. I know it's wierd i will spend $300 on a light kit installed and $200 for tip over covers but not 49.00 for a mirror. There is just certain things I wont spend more than i think i should and others i dont even blink an eye at. Odd i know, but thats me!

If you get one, make sure you mount it with Velcro. If you ever have to get to the bolts underneath it will make it a lot easier, don't ask me how I know

$wi, you went through what I did......everyone getting one of these, please take heed, don't stick it on, us the velcro!!!!! And if Victory is listening, change your package to use velcro instead of double stick.
Also for those that don't think this is worth the $, that is fine, it is your $, but I have gotten alot of good comments from folks that ride with my wife and I about the mirror, for my wife, it is her favorite.

I have a mirror in my trunk - that cost all of about $2.50 at WalMart.  I forget the brand, but it was a visor mirror in the automotive accessories in yellow and black packaging, and is about 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 overall, with a black plastic frame around it.  I removed the two clips designed to hold the mirror on the sunvisor, set the mirror horizontally with the base at the bottom of the trunk lid, and secured it with two black self-tapping machine screws in the two holes designed to mount the mirror.  It works great and my wife loves it!
