| My rear master cylinder cover came off...........whats a good alternative adhesive instead of the stuff Victory supplies with the chrome cover kits? |

Posts: 244 Fargo, ND | I use the 1" wide high-strength double-stick trim moulding tape by 3m. It's gray tape with a red peel-off backing. Works very well. |

| +1 on the 3M tape.
Just make sure you clean the surface really good.

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I didn't think of that. When I put mine on the first time I was too conservative with the silicone. Came off in a day or two. I went and got a tube of Permatex silicone sealer and adheasive, #66BR. It is ROCK solid now. Even stayed on when the anti-grav unit on the "bat-bike" failed and I hit the tip-over hard enough to break it off and mangle the floor board. |

Posts: 64 Columbia,MO | I bought mine a couple weeks ago and I live in feezing conditions this time of year. The silicone they sent with the cover is probably not suppose to freeze. Mine blew off on the very next ride and I could not find it. I noticed the silicone never set up and I could ball it up. I told my dealer and showed them what happened and they gave me a new one free of charge. They said they would take it up with Victory. Do not know what Victory said. So beware of the silicone in the package. I just bought some 100% silicone(won't freeze)and it worked fine. |

Posts: 215 Boydsville, AR United States | The silicone came off of the crome trim for the mirrors. I used 3 M double sides trim tape that I cut into thin strips. You should be able to find it at any body shop, or auto supply store. |
