I put an aftermarket Corbin seat on my bike with heat and backrest. I like the seat and it looks great but the heat it gives is very mild, even on the high setting. The stock seat on the bike gets much hotter. Any ideas why this may be or is it some type of wiring issue. I think it should get warmer than it does. Have you heard of any issues with the Corbin or stock seat for that matter not getting warm enough.

Victory used to use vinyl seats and Corbin used leather. Leather may not let the heat through the same way?

Ma.
While I was waiting for my seat to be delivered (It was past the scheduled delivery date) I was told the hold up was with the heating elements. I have not used the heat so I do not know how hot or not hot it gets. The heat on my stock "08" seat was perfect. The heat on my "06" Corbin Goldwing Seat was perfect as well. (It was a leather seat) I never gave it a thought that the Vision seat would not heat up enough. Although the weather is not cold enough for a heated seat.... I will try it out if I get my bike back from the dealer for the weekend.

I got the Corbin seat,no problems after i sent it back because it didnt fit the cut outs in the plastic tank at the front. It does take a little longer to heat up,but after a little bit I have to turn it to low.

Hey Probie, hopefully it's just the switch and you will get a fast turn around. I'll be curious if you still like the comfort after your big tour in May.

I hope that those that have bought the Corbin will post a review or opinion of the seat. I know that opinions always differ on this, but I'd be interested to hear what people say. I owned a Corbin seat, and it definitely a harder seat. Even after several thousand miles, it neevr felt like it broke in. But, maybe it's because I have no rear, so anything feels hard. Somone on here said that the Cordni for the Vision was softer than most of their other seats. Please let me, and us, know what you think, especially if you have owned other Corbin seats to compare it to an maybe some Mustang as well. I personally would be very interested. If there is anyone in the Virginia area that has one, please let me know if you'd be willing to meet up and let me give it a posterior feel test. I am thinking of getting one, but since you can't return Corbin seats, I don't want to drop the money and be disappointed. Thanks.

Ok I have the Corbin I am a big guy and the seat is great for me this is the third Corbin I have had 2 on my wings and now the Vision.

It is a very firm seat and I like that. It does sit you up about and 1 inch taller and does'nt breakdown after time. I have been on the bike for 3 hours at a time with no issues or problems. The Stock seat with the utopia backrest put me out of the running at about 1 hour I had to get off and stretch. This is much kinder to my back and to my butt. My wife also likes it but if your wife is vertically challanged then you will need to raise the rear floorboards more than the 2 inches of the victory riser. You can double the riser or build one your self my son-in law built me some risers that are 4 inches and they are great.

I love this seat and am waiting for the first trip so I can try a longer day and see the results.
