Posts: 33 Between Rockford and Sterling Illinois | Finally my cams, intake and Lloyds fuel controller are in. Got everythinbg from Lloyds. Douglas and Frye in Rock Falls installed them for me. Well worth the wait and the increase in power is there all the way to the limiter. Don't have a dyno yet so no numbers. Used Lloyds settings on the fuel controller and she's running great. Only rode about 40 miles today so will post some mileage numbers and more impressions after a few more miles. If you are wondering if it's worth it I'd say "Oh Yeah".
Also a note about my dealer, "Douglas and Frye" in Sterling Illinois. They rock! Very happy with the sales and the service. Always good at the counter and in back. Thanks Rich! |

| Congrats, I love my upgrade. Like night and day from stock.
I have the Big Honkers on mine, they sounded good stock but ROCK with the upgrade.
LLoyd did the dyno in Daytona.
111HP/111TQ at the tire.
My first time, did not know they ran low in Florida.
I will have him do it again in Laconia this summer.
Hoping for 116HP up north. |

Posts: 54 Orangeville, PA | Hey Rick could you possibly post a pic of where the fc is located on your bike, I was talking to you and the other Vision in Florida at the lunch stop from the Volusia ride about this upgrade, and it's starting to get to me. I think I NEED to do this upgrade but want to see what everything looks like before maybe pulling the trigger, thanks. |

| Steve, I should be able to get one posted tonight.
It fits under the plastic piece in front of your seat. |

| Has anyone here who has done the cam, intake, and exhaust (Ness Big Honkers or VIc S1/L2) gotten fuel milage numbers in yet? I'm really interested in doing this upgrade but don't want to lose any milage due to the touring nature of my riding. |

| I never ran mine before the upgrade but got like 44mpg running hard in Florida.
Did a little over 2100 miles there.
I have the upgrade with the Honkers.
Seemed like mpg was getting better as time went on. |

Every set I have done has reported back at least a 2MPG IMPROVEMENT in all types of riding |

| The increase in gas mileage was the real reason I did the upgrade.
Just doing my part to save the environment.
The power increase was just an extra. |

| Lloyd charges 4 hours and since it was a learning experience for my guy, that is what he charged me.
He went real slow to make sure he did it right, so I think he had 6 in it.
I think mine was one of the first 09's done, so no one seemed to know it would take
a little longer with the new cam carriers also.
Your guy should talk with Lloyd before doing it.
Some tricks that he will share to save time and aggravation. |
