Posts: 238 SF Bay Area | OK, so I have heard one person say you can change the H4 bulbs through the bottom, once you remove the air filter. I have also heard another say you need to spend hours removing the entire headlight reflector housings to change the H4 bulbs.
Which is true?
I know which I would prefer... :^)

I have small hands and I think I could do it with a few scrapes and aggrevation. If you don't have small hands and can see with them then I'm afraid you will have to do some removal of other stuff to get the job done. I stuck my hand back there and found room to work around and got a picture what needs to be done without disturbing anything as not to cause premature failure. There is a boot, and a clip, like most automotive headlights, and much like them in regards a tightfit to get to them. |

Posts: 83 Lexington, North Carolina | I have changed both of mine w/o disassembly. Probably just hardheaded, but because the book said that's how to do it I was determined, and it did take some persistance. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I digress and be politically incorrect, but that is funny. The sad thing is I have met in recent years a few young ladies, intelligent, blonde and beautiful, who are or have completed an engineering degree and even going for a masters. But knowing from the mechanic side of the story, NO engineer has ever had a wrencher in mind when they design... |
