when doing the wireing for my new trailer hook up, i belive i need a Little black box to tap bikes wireing into before hooking them for the bike side wireing to my trailer ???? is whats that black box called thanks dennis

When I built my hitch, I spliced into the wire harness under the seat and brought back one wire for every function, my Motorvation trailer has enough lights on the back to use every feed. I didn't need to use any converter for 4 into 3 (+ground), and since the bulbs are conventional (not LED) I didn't need any resistors. Hope this helps. Alan
