| While changing my throttle body assy, it all came apart. I finally took it to a dealer to put the puzzle back together and now the throttle is stiff and will not return to "zero" on the handgrip. The dealer said I need a new cruise control cable because that is what makes the throttle return. I also have to say that it worked fine before changing the throttle body. There is a lot of slack in that cable now. I was going to take it off but it didn't want to come off of the cruise module and I didn't think I should pull it too hard in fear of tearing it up.
I thought that the springs on the assy was what caused it to spring back like on any other carburetor?
I don't really want to waste more money at a dealership as it seems like it should be a easy fix. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
