I've noticed lately that when I'm downshifting from 3-2 and from 2-1 there seems to be an interim step between the gears. It's sort of a half-step and I have to remove downward pressure of the shifter before reapplying to fully shift to the lower gear. It doesn't seem to be oil related (happens before and after a recent oil change). It's happened on & off over th last few years and seems to be happening more often.

Wondering if something is wearing out.

Any ideas?

Double post joke.

What's the difference between a Harley and a vacuum cleaner? The position of the dirtbag.

Well, JJ, did you find out anything? My guess something came off a shaft.
