This morning's ride to work went fine. When I was dismounting, I noticed the left side lighted badge was flickering. I did what cames naturally and flicked my middle finger against my thumb snapping it at the lense. After a few snaps the "chrome" frame come undone and the LED badge hung down with the wiring keeping if from hitting hte ground.

I searched the forum and found that there has been issues with the left side flickering and/or not lighting. I get that and will deal with it but does anyone know what holds this unit together? There was a clear film under the frame but it is not a silicon caulk or like any other automotive trim adhesive that I am used to.

Anybody have any thoughts or comments? I am hoping that the flickering is just a wiring issue and it soulnd like it is up by the fuel box according to the other posts. If I am successful at getting it lit right, what options to have it hold it self together?

My right side lighted badge on my 2011 did the same.. My wire was still connected so I just used silicone to reattach it.

Another vote on using clear silicone. Just let it dry for 24hours.
