Has anyone figured out about how much resale/trade value we lost since Victory is stopping production?

According to Craigslist listings and Cycle Trader listing in my part of the country, they haven't lost any value relative to other comparable bikes of the same age, such as Goldwings. I live in the Midwest and there are three different GL1800 Golding owners on Craigslist asking for $6500 within a 150 radius. There are others asking for higher prices, but the same bikes are there week after week. Victory Visions are generally listed for higher prices than that.

Harleys are listed for much higher prices, but they aren't selling. The same bikes remain listed for many weeks at a time.

My 9 year old Vision is apparently worth about 40% to 45% of what I paid for it new. That is fairly normal depreciation for any vehicle--car, truck, or bike.

I heard of a few dealers local NOT accepting them as trade-ins . So that's not a great sign . One dealer said . Why would I want to take one on trade when I'm trying to get rid of all my victory stuff .. and he uses for sit on Visions for a very long time compared to the other victorys he sold.. also I seen he is not accepting working on victorys that he did not personally sell.. why ? Cause he ain't doing polaris NO favors ........ ( warranty )

it is sad to say that they are not worth as much as we spent on them. I recently traded mine in on a spyder and only got 5400.00 for it by the dealer . I have to say it was a pleasure to own a 08 vision, but my wife isn't comfy on it and it was time to move on. it has been 52000 miles with smiles.

Paid $10,500 US for my 2010 Vision 8-Ball two years ago with 5900 miles on it. Now it has 16,000, and even though it's an orphink and may be worthless to the overall marketplace, if VARIDER is any indication, it remains nearly priceless to me, as I won't wear that 106 motor out until I'M 106!!
