After testing a few bikes I couldn't resist the power and agility of the 2017 ktm super duke gt.
Nothing but good vibes for Vic bikes. Just wish corporate didn't go all in with Indian only

Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | I looked that up. Very cool fast looking bike. But i look at it and think you must have given up on long distance multiday , two up travel in favor of other styles or pursuits like canyon carving or maybe a day trip. I know that bike is a million thrills from the throttle but I couldn't stand that folded up position for hours on end like the Vision and I know my wife couldn't.
175 HP Holy Crap! and of course it comes with the ever popular ride modes.
3 oil pumps according to specs. I don't know how i feel about that. My first questions are the why's and what if's of a trio of oil pumps.
another thing that crossed my mind , you won't have to get used to tiny panniers that come on the KTM. You are already used to the Vision's
I'm giving you a hard time but I'm excited for you. Give us a review once you have a some miles and experience on it. |

| All good I thought the same thing until a road it. Then went out and took care of first 620 miles for first service in 1.5 days. Yes the 175 horses on a 450 lbs bike is fun as can be. Almost same size panniers, these panniers will hold a full face helmet so a little bigger There are certainly trade offs and gains. But long days will never be out of my riding style. But then again I did a 1000 mile day on my 74 Norton last year. So doing so on this bike with comfort seat and cruise will be a breeze.
Certainly not as easy at it was on the Vic thou!

Posts: 62 Eagan, MN United States | those are a fun bike! you should get lots of enjoyment out of it especially once you find some nice twisty's. I've never rode one but have sat on them. Kudo's to you for being able to put some long miles in a day on them. I don't think I could do it. But then again, I've rode long distance SS1K's on a Jackpot so I guess it is what you are used to doing. Enjoy the new ride! |

| It's not that hard. After all it was cycle worlds best tourer of 2016. No way I'd go from the Vision to a uncomfortable bike. There are only 18 of these in the US right now on the road. The rest Demos until April. Was lucky to get one of the 18 |

| You should really like the Super Duke. Sold my Vision this summer and picked up a KTM 1290 Super Adventure. 8,300 miles and no regrets. Recommend you check out advrider.com. They have a KTM forum and great ride reports. |

| I have sworn off bmw's as I've risen many of my miles with 2 buds who were Beemer riders. After watching the coin on Mx they dropped there is no way. Besides, why aettke for 160 hp 😂 |
