Who is the supplier ? Is there anything special about them? Freedom does not make the motor. The motor are assembled in Osceola Wi. Where Polaris had their assembly plant for years. The motors are shipped to Spriet Lake plant. The last I knew, it was Mahle. Company based in Stuttgart, Germany. They are a high quality premium supplier to the industry. I do not know if that is still the case in 2016.
