Posts: 24 Pierson, FL United States | Well well well. I just had my cams replaced by Kevin X. Great work and I love the new power.
Kevin put my Pearl on his Dyno to see what we had gained. Lots of spitting and sputtering at the high RPMs. Kevin fiddled and changed the settings on my Debeck Gen 4+ fuel controller, to no avail. Lots of screwey numbers at the higher RPMS.
I called the Dobeck tech guys when I got home and they seemed to have changed the grounding point recommened for their product. I had to change the ground point from the negative terminal on the battery to the ground point on the front of the engine.
I wish they had told me about this before now!!!! Big black eye for the Dobeck crew.

Overall, the bike runs great. I still like the idea of being able to change the AFR as I want.
I'm just not happy that Dobeck didn't feel the need to inform it's customers about the new ground point. |
