29 Palms California | Since I can't talk about my vision, (NOT HERE YET) anyone want to explain to me why Missouri didn't get a BCS bowl game, and OHIO STATE is playing LSU vice OKLAHOMA? At least it's a sure win for the Buckeyes! |

29 Palms California | It's all about the dollar. As I understand it, the BCS was formed to establish #1 and #2. The rest are "at large". So, USC and Illinois? The Illini were #2 in the Big Ten, and are going to a BCS game? Tradition states that #1 PAC10 will play #1 BigTen in the Rose Bowl. Since the Buckeyes are number one in the Nation, that leaves the Illini from the big ten. I guess they looked at how much revenue Georgia and Illinois could generate, and stayed with tradition. All in all, the BCS has been good to the BUCKEYES. I'm glad we are play LSU, because they beat my son-in-laws Volunteers, and we will reak a vengence upon the LSU tiggers...predictions? I'm going with Buckeyes 42 LSU 13.... |

29 Palms California | More fuel for the Buckeye fire! I still say BUCKEYES 42 LSU 13. I would be worried if we were playing Oklahoma....
I talked to my shop yesterday, and they DO NOT have a positive fix on my bike. He said his computer isn't tracking the truck, but he got in 2 black visions last thursday, supposed to be on Friday...so the Computer is behind. He said he shows 2 Midnight Cherries headed his way as of last friday, and is positive one is mine. We shall see. I don't even have an excited bone in my body right now. I'm fricken numb from the experience and hope the "deal" goes better than this. |

29 Palms California | I was close to the score, I just had it backwards.....ALL RIGHT YOU BUNCH OF BAND WAGON BUZZARDS! Not one of you fessed up to liking LSU since this site opened. Since this is our 2nd BCS Championship, we were prepping for next years BCS BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP! If you think about, we were "suppose" to place 3rd in the Big Ten this year. I LOVE THE BUCKEYES! Props to LSU, and a high five to anyone of you one OLD BUZZARDS who are actually LSU fans. I could go into lack of adjustments on offense and defense, but it's over, and next year we will win the BIG ONE. My championship game is when ever we beat Michigan....As far as I'm concerned, you can't "band wagon" a division. If you wanna brag, name your team and stick with them! Then bring them to the 2009 BCS Championship, so the BUCKEYES can "whoop that candy ass"! p.s, the SEC shouldn't let their players speak during interviews...bunch of marble eating idiots. Unlike you, I have a team that has been to the National Championship 3 times since BCS conception, with one win against Miami. I'm not counting next years National Championship which the BUCKEYES will play in and win. That will make them 2 for 4 for National Championships from 2003-2009. I'm not sure if that does anything for the Big Ten and could care less. So, unless your TIDE played in the national championship, you'll just have to happy with the win over that power house Colorado. Real fans of a team, don't back any other team, especially one of there rivals. With this being said, I would never say how bad Michigan spanked Florida...because they are Buckeye rivals. I would have preffered Florida win. Why? Because we spanked Michigan, and hate them. With all the teams in the SEC, I guess one of them is bound to win a football game, and since your team wasn't in the BIG ONE, you band wagon with a team you "hate"? Confusing how you think. Then again, with that attitude you can't loose, right? Guess I will have to change my thinking on how to be a real fan. |

I'm sorry if that offended you, that was not my intention. I was just having fun. From reading your post, I falsely derived from them that you could take some ribbing in good fun.
I'm sorry you don't see where I'm coming from, but when my team is not in it , I support my conference. there is a lot of pride in the south when it comes to the SEC . The buckeyes have a good program but they are 0-8 in bowl games against SEC teams. Besides, I can't take a coach seriously in a carnigan sweater and tie. My loyalty is to my team first and conference second. Our conference is one of history,heritage, pride , and dominance. I wanted Florida to win too, they are SEC. Tebow is an Alabama boy  I'm proud we beat Colorado, even though we tried to give it away. If you want to look at the past, look at the whole past. Alabama has 12 National Championships. I think that's the most. "with all the teams in the SEC, I guess one of them is bound to win" correction, almost ALL of them won, with the exceptions being FLA and ARK. I think 7 out of 9 bowl wins for the conference. I'm not sure the bucks should have been in the Big ONE either.
Everyone picks someone they support in the title game but not everyone is an LSU or Buck fan. Now , if the Bucks ever play USC for it, I am in support of the Buckeyes, they are the lesser of the 2 evils.

29 Palms California | dang it desertjim! I'm a Buckeye, not a pool man! Yeah, we gotta talk about something. By the way, my biggest heartache is my oldest daughter is a Wolf-ereen fan. So you can babble about the SEC thing all you want. My son-in-law is a Vols fan. I like them also.
No sweat you bunch of buzzards! My skin is 3 inches thick! oh, thats something else. 8 months left till we do it all over again. GO BUCKEYES! Just a question to the college football fans. Do most of you hate the Buckeyes because we win so much? Or is it something else? I'm sure you mention strength of schedule. No excuse next year. 13 Sept. HOWEVER, they did knock off the Sooner Boomers this year which was fun. Had problems with to much partyin and some funky coaches,including the new UCLA guy named Rick Neuhisel- good luck- My wife is diggin the Vision and the comfy ride also, loves to fool around with the heat warmer on my butt when I don't need it and giggle like a little girl- Riddin this weekend, suppose to be around 70, yahoo! So Cal | Back in the late 70's we used to take a chartered bus from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati and Cleavland for the NFl games. Went four times only saw one game. The game I did see, had to bail a friend out of jail for climbing the flagpole and taking the Ohio state flag. Cant remember which city it was in. Dont have a drinking problem, have a quitting problem. |
