This leather seat does not have heated elements in it. The product manager of this seat should have been fired! If you want a back rest go with the Utopia as it is awesome and a better backrest than the one on this new leather seat. If you want a leather seat with everything you can have the stock seat recovered in leather or buy the Corbin seat. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | just my opinion and nothing personal but yes the Utopia backrest will help your back, but at an ugly price to pay. The contour of the padded back doesnt go with the fit and finish of such an artistic bike. The replacement Vic heated seat with back rests visually looks better, if you are able to spend the money. I have the passenger wrap back rest on my Vision Street Premium with the rear luggage rack and that really sets off the back end of the bike, i looked at the Utopia and the contour on that vs the coutour of the
Vic passenger rest are so different it made the Utopia stand out like a pig with lipstick just my opinion |

Posts: 226 on the edge of Los Angeles | I wonder why Victory did not make that seat with heat? Well I got more information about seats here than I did from the people representing Victory at the IMS show...
Does anyone have a stock heated seat they want to part with? This woul allow me to send it off to someone like Corbin etc.. while still being able to ride.. |

The Utopia is not that bad looking and on a touring bike it should be funtion before form and the Utopia is the most comfortable backrest I have ever had. If the Vic leather seat was heated I might buy it but the backerest on it is not as comforatable as the Utopia and provides much less support. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | I have a company that can add heat to any stock seat if you are interested. They have to take it apart put better padding in it and add
either the single driver heat or driver and passenger heat. He is re-tooling my Rune seat next week while Im on vacation, does a great job used him 3 times before. |

Posts: 226 on the edge of Los Angeles | Thanks for all the Info, It would seem that if I want leather with heat then getting my stock seat redone is the best option. If I do go Corbin they have many backrests to choose from. The Utopia may also be an optin for that.

| You know if you don't care for the squarish design of the Utopian backrest you can reshape the pan and any automotive reupholstering shop can modify the cover for a few bucks. Just food for thought.
I take the tour pack off occasionally and run the Victory passenger backrest in its place. Oddly the square Utopian rest isn't even noticeable to me in this configuration, and less so with the tour pack on. Guess I'm just not nit-picky enough, lol.. |
