| my Vision today, first time in two months since we've been getting snowed upon a lot here. Fit like a glove. Didn't ride it or anything because it's parked in my barn (aka shed) which sits 100 yards back in my yard with a swamp between it and the paved drive, but I was sure tempted. Temps here are in the mid 60's but the road salt and wet would be a real pain to get scrubbed off even if I could get it to solid ground.
Was also at the Harley dealer checking out the new HD's. They changed quite a bit on the new baggers, but none felt as good of a fit than my Vision. Thats not a hit on Harley, just a compliment to the folks at Victory for figuring out a good ergo fit for 6' riders.
So I guess I'll have to be content with driving the wifes new Suzuki SX4 Crossover for a while longer.
Oh and anyone having the cold and warm-ups like we are..... might consider wiping down their bike, and then spraying anything chrome with WD40. I had a bunch of condensation issues from the warm-up. Might save you from some major rust cleanup come spring. The wd40 will wash right off with some simply green and a hose come spring. |

Posts: 332 Dale, Indiana | 70 to 75 degrees today in southern Indiana.
BUT
Winds blowing 20 to 30MPH gust to 45.
Thought 'to windy'.
Took it out about 2pm CST and road for over 3 hours. Goosh I love fighting the wind!
There's something about the feel of a sound sure-footed bike on a windy day. I actually enjoyed the wind.
Seems odd really, but I really did.
Saw a few other bikes, they too looked happy with a break in the cold weather.

Posts: 600 Linwood, MI | We've had a total of 30+ inches of accumulation in the last few weeks here. This weekend the temps hit record highs in the upper 50s, so the driveway and roads are fairly clear now, with just a few patches of chunky ice here and there. Unfortunately, the wind is about 40 mph. Hopefully the snow will hold off after the wind dies down so I can get some miles put on. |

Posts: 271 Belding Michigan | Well I got to ride yesterday I loaded up the beast and headed to Florida the day before Christmas and had Christmas with my kids down here. then yesterday I was working on getting our Florida place in shape and my wife says I can't go for a ride but you need one so go away for a while. It is 80 degrees and sunny here and I was gone had some breakfast and accidentally ticked off a Harley rider when his girl friend? she said look his bike has a place for a passenger to sit not like your bike. The Harley left in a cloud of noise and exhaust but I think she and he were not happy for different reasons. If any one is coming down for bike week I live about 2 hours from Daytona so give me a holler and we can meet up. Archie |

Posts: 249 Montreal, QC Canada | Temp got up into the high 40's over the last few days. Would have been great to go for a ride, but the bike is still in Phoenix waiting for us to get back to it. Flights were too backed up to find an empty seat. |

It was warm in Washington DC and Alexandria Old town yesterday and warmer today. I saw about a dozen HD's in Alexandria's Old Town district yesterday but no Victorys. Someone did stop me at the National Portrait Gallery today and asked me if I was a Vision Rider. I was wearing the Slate colored Short Sleeve Vision-Riders.com t-shirt.
I said yes and he told me he tested one a few months ago and really liked it. He rode a BMW. At that point we went off in separate directions with our families. It is nice to be noticed.
Ride Safe. |

| 130 miles yesterday and a new record high of 59 degrees.
Had some strong wind gusts. The bike behaved well but I have to adjust to the way it reacts to the wind.
Come on summer.... |
