Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Santa delivered presents for the Elf Louise Project in San Antonio on a Red Velvet covered 2008 Victory Vision.
Santa had two elves on Harleys and a Truck carrying the toys.
One house Santa visited had only tar paper over plywood with no insulation on the exterior walls. The presents delivered to that house will probably all those children receive.
I will post more pictures as I get them.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Elf Louise is a labor of love. I try to do one run every year. I like to give my time to help out but I have never felt good about donating money. When I give my time, I get to see and meet the people I help out.
GAgirlTrixie,
Santa Vision Christmas 2008
It took about 90 minutes and 2 1/2 Yards of light weight Red Crushed Velvet fabric to cover the bike as you see it in the photos.
I removed my chrome front blade and covered the original aluminum blade with the fabric and taped it on the back of the blade. I used clear packing tape. I made sure the fabric would not get in the way of the pins that secure the blade.
The cover over the trunk lid is just tied inside the trunk like a hood (and I cut out the two pins that lock the trunk) and pulled to the handles on each side of the seat and tied off.
The side bags were a pain to do by myself and took a lot of clear packing tape. I wrapped them like a package.
I cut a circle and taped it over the HID light for the nose.
Two thin strips were used to wrap the clutch and front brake levers.
I basket was tied to the back seat full of candy that Santa would throw to children that he would pass.
The final item used for decoration was a "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" banner that was hung from the throttle when stopped.
Next year I will add Lights, Ornaments and Antlers?

Posts: 600 Linwood, MI | That's awesome, rt! Really made me smile seeing that. I especially liked the Rudolph nose and the "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" banner. Nice touches.
I give it a big THUMBS UP with little, blinky Christmas lights! |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Here is a group shot of the bank employees and their family that worked for Elf Louise last Saturday.
It was the largest group that my company had provided for the event. Over twenty teams went out with a Santa and two to five elves per team.
I was one of at least four Motorcycle Santa's that left that day. One was an all scooter team, two other teams rode harleys.
Saturday the temperature was 75 and Santa was hot. Gatorade never tasted so good. Sunday the high was 40. If you don't like the weather in Texas just wait a day.
Now that it is cold I am worrying about the kids from the tar paper house. Count your blessings this season.
Ride Safe!
