| I've always thought the tail lights on the Vision were pretty bright using the stock 1157 bulbs but everytime I take a ride with a friend of mine during the day, he comments on how hard it is to see the brake lights when we're coming to a stop. I've used LED lights on other bikes but because of the low angle of the Vision lights, I'm curious if they'd help here. Any input? |

I added a set do Amber hyper light turn signals to mine. I bought a combo brake and turn set. I would recommend just the amber one. It will be less confusing to people following you. |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | On the '08 vision I used to have, I had changed all the bulbs out to LED. You just have to put in a resistor inline in the wiring to keep the flasher rate right and keep the cruise from kicking off. Not hard really. But remember not all LEDs are the same! There are some good ones and some really cheap ones out there. Also, remember to get the colored bulbs not just white. White will not shine as brightly through a colored lens no matter how bright the bulb is. Some of the light is blocked due to the color spectrum of the lens. |
