Posts: 123 Marysville Washngton | Well, it's 32 degrees and snowing here in Seattle. But that did not deter me from my mission at the Cycle Show. Should be a blue Vision with my name on it sometime soon coming this way. Coincidently, I now have a Hammer for sale It's posted in the For Sale section.
8 more days and the days start getting longer. Which can only mean that riding weather is not too far off right? |

Posts: 311 Atlanta Area | Congrats!!! Every day is a riding day on the Vision. I was amazed by how much weather protection there actually is on our bikes. Turn on the heated grips, heated seat and fire up the iPod....
Let us know when you get your scoot. And remember to post some pictures!!! |

Anyway, congratulations, and welcome! |

| I'm 99.99% sure you'll be happy with the Vision. Just remember the 3 month rule and ride EXTRA careful. For those who don't know what the 3 month rule is; the first 3 months of ownership of any new bike regardless of mileage and/or hours ridden is the most dangerous (fatality wise). Enjoy..... |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Good advice, Teach. Well, V Spot - riding in Vancouver weather wise is about the same as Seattle. I rode last weekend. In general, I have not gone more than 2 weeks in the past 4 years without riding - all year. And I do not ride in rain or snow - unless ... well, being from Seattle, you know. I know you will love your new ride - especially when the weather deals you a surprise. |

This is a great point Teach. When I traded in my Ness Jackpot for the Vison it took me about 2 months to completely get the feel for the new bike. The balance is completely different (better) so taking corners and stopping were the biggest changes.
Welcome to the club and ride safe. |

Congrats on your new ride. I love my new vision i just got in sept. I used to live in LK.Stevens for almost 8 years till last year. So I know your little town very well. Enjoy your new toy. I didnt make this years motorcycle show in seattle. I have been to that show almost ever year since it started but since moving to the east side it's harder to get there now having to cross the pass in winter. |

Posts: 123 Marysville Washngton | Thank you for the welcome notes and some good advice on taking it slow going from a Hammer to a Vision.

I am at peace with my masculinity so they can call the blue bike whatever they want.
I will order my decoder ring shortly after Christmas so that I have it in time. |
