Posts: 935 Rockford, IL | This company http://www.kewlmetal.com/ has just released thier new helmet locks for the Vision. These locks will work with both heated and non-heated grips. Don't know the selling price though. If you are interested in them give them a call. Posts: 297 VA | It's funny, several months ago I emailed them and asked them about this. They told me they couldn't do it because the way that the bar was set up, but they might consider trying something. Looks like it actually helped. I think in the spring I'm going to pick these up, I hate having to store them in the trunk all the time. Victory should have had something like this, it's almost a necessity, especially if you don't have a trunk. Never had mine stolen, but was just waiting for it. |

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | I had these on my Kingpin. Be sure to hang your helmet so it is not going to catch something, like rain, or garbage from the passer by. Also, one of them locked up after two years, could not get it to unlock. |

| Looks like a great place to put your helmet on a rainy day. That lid would fill up in a heartbeat. |

Posts: 297 VA | Lotzafun, thanks for posting that. That is pretty darn easy. I am definitely getting a pair. Glad I waited because the other options weren't that appealing, or plentiful. This should be easy to convince the wife since she doesn't like getting the helmet from the trunk each time. |

Its hard to tell if the bars are turned or not, it kinda looks like they are, but I'm not sure. And they also locked the helmet "backwards" too. I think if the helmet is turned 180 and then locked and the handlebars are turned fully to the left the helmet won't hit the bodywork. But then again I won't 100% agree with this theory until I see an actual picture of it done this way. Until then my $$$ stays in my pocket. |

Posts: 394 Tucson, AZ | After emailing them for info, I got a reply stating that they were $119.95 but there was two of everything. Two locks, two keys, and two helmet extenders. Don't need two and don't want to spend $119.95 plus shipping. |

| what is so difficult about bending a small bit of wire and hooking it inside the saddle bags put you helmet loop on the wire and close the saddle bag. There is more than enough gap for the strap. I have been doing this ever since I bought the Vision. when you close the bags helmet is secure Just be sure to put padded side of helmet against the bag... |

Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | Don't you find it odd that a multi million dollar company didn't add-design helmet locks on their motorcyle? Could it be they thought only "cool" non helmet wearing folks would be purchasing the Vision? Really a strange oversight.
I purchased some Kewlocks from Big Joe. I'll take pictures with the rain protectors from Tourking for hanging, dangling helmets, like on the back of the Goldwings.

| Has anyone here noticed the opening that you see when you open the right saddlebag lid that looks like a cross? My thought was that Victory was going to offer a cable with a metal piece that went into the opening that you would put through your helmet D rings and then insert it into the cross shaped opening, then close and lock the saddlebag lid and your helmet would be secure. Perhaps there were problems with this system that caused Victory to not follow up with the cable yet the opening was still molded into the saddlebag? Anyone have any ideas about this? |
