Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | Soft seize on my front brakes on the way to work in the mornings. I got off and felt the rotors, left rotor is cool, right rotor is too hot to touch (left and right perspective from sitting on the bike) Front right caliper is being stubborn about letting go on my 2009 Vision. Had a tech clean them once already. Any input is appreciated. |

Posts: 170 Barrington, NH | If they are the same, I have a complete system that I removed from my 08 Vision, bike had 8,000 KM on it when I bought it. It was a salvage that I stripped it down and made a custom out of. I went with non linked brakes... |

| have you bleed the "top" fitting to see if you have air in line.
middle one is for the rear brake.
is master cylinder lever go all the way to grip or does it stop half way. maybe master cylinder is not pushing all the fluid
brake fluid is only good for 3 years. auto store sells it. |

| what you might have is a bad o-ring in caliper not letting the piston to come out. Its a kit from Vic with pistons its $105 bucks from Vic.
if it were me I would pull caliper and relube o-rings and see if it worked. Pull caliper and stick screwdriver between pads and see if it works.
I'm guessing a Honda might have just o-rings

Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | Friday, my tech took it apart and cleaned front calipers thoroughly . Had a lot of white powder corrosion from our recent beach trip. bled fluid , refilled, reassembled and it has not happened again. Thank you guys for offering help with suggestions. I believe it is remedied .

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | glad it worked out. Mine had so much corrosion from the over worn rotors and thin pads, that when I replaced the rotors and the pads all it would do is stick. I pulled them off and cleaned as best I could and that relieved it, but did not cure it. |
