Posts: 26 Loveland, CO United States | Only thing to say is welcome to the forum. One person posted a photo of his odometer on Facebook and it showed 195,000 miles and all he does is feed his bike oil and tires. Enjoy the mods you are having done and enjoy your new ride. Ride safe. -Dale |

| If you actually read that 195K post you would have seen that he replaced the powertrain at ~150K due to a failed transmission shaft bearing. Salvage motor was cheaper than repair.
I've got a 2013 bought new with 70K on it, no big issues. A few minor parts and many, many maintenance parts / fluids. Never used a drop of oil between changes.... so far.
Zero powertrain or electrical problems, other than 2 abs sensors.

| Yeah, I had to read the whole post/comments as that mileage on an mc engine would be very impressive. I plan to run this thing till it fails, and if it doesn't grenade then I hope to custom build it.
Can't complain about the 106, the only time I've ever cracked open the engine case was to add the ATW at 10K.
BTW, cmark, most of my 70K miles are TX miles!

Posts: 50 Virginia Beach, VA | I have the same bike. 2013 Gold Mist with 27,000 miles on it now. Other than a couple performance mods, it's been Oil and Tire changes, fork fluid at 25k and the front fender mod bracket. Get the lower air deflectors, big help during the summer heat. |

You are correct . I can add that I had the same bearing failure at 134,000 miles. But there is a Vision rider we all know VaRyder who has his original 2008 that he bought new and he has 191,000+ miles with the original unmolested egine intact . He has never had the engine open for any reason. Zero mechanical failures. |

Nothing really to say about these except that you are going to enjoy many miles of trouble free riding. I envy you getting the cams. I would love to ride a bike with cams to see the difference. Let me add that the 1/4 turn throttle ring is awesome! |

Congratulations!!
While Lloydz has the bike, have them reprogram the ECU to take full advantage of the cams. You'll be glad you did.

| I think shipping to Iowa The Vic Shop would be cheaper.
As far as motor work goes Rylan is like Lloydz right hand. He is one of the most talented Vic Techs you can find.
You would not be disappointed one bit |

I can also vouch for Rylan and The Vic Shop. Rylan is who did the work on my bike and tuned it. It ran absolutely great. However, I could tell that there was more and the stock ECU was holding it back, especially when it would hit the rev limiter so quickly and so hard. So, I sent my ECU to Lloydz to be reprogrammed.
PERFECT.

| I lied to everyone!!!! I switched i bought A 2012 Bronze mist. stock all a round, oh wait has a drink holder!!! I think I did pretty well it has 5,810miles on it and i gave 10350.00 for it.
will have to wait a week or so for my funds to be ready. Will have it 2 weeks before I ship it to Lloyd. going all out big jugs, cams, and supercharger, plus all the crap. ie filters, fuel controller, progress clutch, etc.
This will be number 4 vic and number 4 motor he has built for me in the last 10 years.

Posts: 115 Columbus, Ga | would it make sense to save or sell the practically new motor in that bike and build a different motor out of an older or higher mileage bike seeing as how your going to just about to completely rebuild it anyway? |

| Have to put off motor build. shipper said may take 2 to 3 weeks because of high volume, and Lloyd said right now he is 10 weeks out. So not going to wait 16 weeks on outside. May have to go Turbo kit (as he is working on a kit for vision), supercharger is a bitch to install on a vision because of body work. Anyway had a long talk with Lloyd and going to ride and stay with him at end of season, and get motor then. |
