Over 6000 k in just under two months and I have went in for a couple of recalls only because I received the notice in the mail. Not an ounce of trouble. I am thinking that some of these "cronic" complainers have not owned a bike(s) before and are living in a dream world. A bike is a mechanical device and requires some simple basic maintenance to keep it at 100%!!! Give your Victory some love and attention and she will treat you right!! Happy biking.

Thanks for that Plumley, I just turned 30k at the one year mark and this is my third year riding after 21 years not being on a bike. As I was riding to church tonight I thought that even after all those miles it is still as exciting as when I rolled out 24 years ago on my brand new '81 CB750 Custom. The Victory Vision is a great machine and I don't plan on trading or selling it, I just want to use it up.

Hubby would agree with both of you. He bought his Vision is August and has had zero problems in around 5000 miles. He had an 03 Nomad he traded in. He liked the Nomad but he loves the Vision.

It's a thrill parking in a lot full of HD's and people, even Harley bikers, coming over to check out your Vision and ask questions about it. Here in San Diego there are still not alot of Victory's out there. Most have seen them in magazines. I get some requests to lay it down which I politely refuse.

Hey Yuma, try it one time to lay it over and see what attention will grab. I hope you upright it, which is fairly easy, but when you lay it on its side people will stand back and talk and other will come up and get a closer look. I did that at a weekly local car/bike show and it got a lot of looks and comments. Some of the brand riders never would walk up to it but stood over facing it while they talked. I'm not sure what the subject was because I was entertaining some that had questions admiring the bike.

I have a friend who just bought an Ultra Classic so I went with him to the large Harly shop in the area. It was so funny There was limited parking so I parked on the outer edge of the lot. After about 45 minutes you would have thought I brought the plague in with me evry one was talking about my bike and would wander over and look but I had a circle of about 30 feet where no one parked around me. Safer place I never parked all the bikes in the lot could have fell over and none would have reached me Vivian and I had a good laugh. Archie

The Vision is still rare enough to draw a crowd no matter where you park it. Harley guys are always in two minds.... they hate the look but love th refinement in ergo's.
