Today we had a Toys for Tots Run in San Diego California. It benefits military families nearby at Camp Pendelton. Just a quick photo of the crowd, (in the thousands) and one of a guy checking out my Vision. Folks were stopping by all morning long and asking about her and taking photos. People are so jazzed about a NEW American Motorcycle, and it's all mine....

Let's hope this new administration will bring our chidlren home soon. Whether you are fo this conflict or not, just remember, this is an all volenteer armed services that we have. No one HAD to participate if they didnt want to. Considering the slap in the face that Vietnam veterans got when they got home, it amazes me that young men AND women choose this path. They, as well as all, who served this country are a credit to the USA way of life. At the risk of being labeled PC incorrect, God bless them all!

The men and women volunteered to serve the United States of America. They did not volunteer to attack Iraq.
And yes they are a credit to our country God Bless them and their family's.

Actually when you take the oath you are agreeing & volunteering to go ANYWHERE the President and your country sends you. Folks act like Iraq is the ONLY place we've sent troops since Nam, and the only place they have been in harms way.... Not so.
Our current service men and women like all those before them are a credit to themselves, and a blessing for our country.

War is an ugly thing, but it is not the ugliest of things.  The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.  The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of men better than himself.

John Stuart Mill
