I'll post pictures as soon as I can reduce them.

What's the extra guage mounted on the left bar for?
It's the display for the Dobeck AFR Gen 4. |

I have a similar pouch in the access panel, but I like yours as it is leather and black. Nice spot for that extra easy access storage.
A couple questions for you:
1. How do you like the Dobeck AFR, has it been reliable and simple to get setup? How was install?
2. How do you like your Commander II tires, especially in the rain?

The dobeck is working great! I had KevinX install it. He has the tools and knows some shortcuts. The dobeck help line is top notch and the military discount is about 25%. You can't beat that with a stick.
I've only had the Commander 2s in the rain once so far. I like them though. |

I am torn on the Dobeck vs PCV, I plan to have the Vic Shop do that work for me hopefully this summer and I too qualify for that 25% Military discount. But if I am calculating correctly we are talking about a difference of $300 or more? $600ish for the PCV and Dyno vs under $300 for the Dobeck AFR 4? Did Kevin dyno it for you after install, that would add those costs back in and make it a closer decision. |

I didn't have the dyno done. With a lloyds top filter, adjustable timing gear and the dobeck Afr, I'm happy with the increase in performance. I doubt a dyno run would gain much more. |

Posts: 341 West Salem, WI United States | That is exactly what I was planning to do with mine, I just can't justify the cams right now. I have the timing gear already, so this keeps my costs pretty low then, thanks for the update! |
