Posts: 374 Tucson, AZ | Was talking with a friend and riding compadre who is a Long Haul truck driver last weekend and he was telling me that he saw a Police version of the Vision in a town near Denver...Cherry Creek or Falls or....Dont know how true this is, has anyone else seen one? Maybe i dont get out enough, but i am sure i would recognize a Vision Cop bike. He said the trunk was missing and in place was the usual square box for the electrics and red/blue lights....what you think? |

Posts: 460 Centennial, CO | Living here...I would have to imagine I would have seen it before anybody. I have yet to see anything like what you mention.
What I do see a lot around here is the stupid Bimmer bikes that tend to resemble a Vic if you squint your eyes hard enough.
I could be wrong about Cherry Hills Village or Greenwood Village, Aurora or most of the cities I drive in and out of during the week. But I don't see them owning Visions.
Hmm...Lone Tree may have purchased a Vision for their force now that I think of it. Basically, they are a rich, yuppy city that nobody likes. They were the only city that purchased several Hummers for their force a few years ago. THAT is when most of us realized we are paying the city too much! So, if it is any city, I would most likely guess it would be Lone Tree. |

Posts: 1324 So Cal | Polaris has a gov. contract for ATV's. its possible. Considering most PD's are going bak to HD. And we all know HD and 100 mph cost extra. (for those that dont, state police, in this state, require motorcycles be able to hit 100 mph) . For some one that rides 8 hrs. a dat I can see where the Vision would bee less stressfull. |

Jacksonville Florida | We asked the Pesident of Victory about cop bikes when we were at the tenth anniversary party and he said that Victory didn't see cop bikes as a profitable venue. But who knows anything can happen. |

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Prior to me selling my ST1300 I was contacted by our county police dept the heard that i owned an ST1300 with the video system onboard and they wanted to see the bike and the vid system. They were currently using BMW bikes and were considering switching over. so perhaps thats what you saw. I know Honda makes a PD version of the ST in white, not avail to public. |

Posts: 301 Buffalo Grove,Ill | Why does everyone on here assume the negative? Maybe the guy saw what he saw. I have been coming to vic and vision sites for only a few months now. And this one is the most negative of them. Please dont get me wrong, almost all the info on this and other sites is great stuff, but on here the negatives fly more abundantly. We are all bretheran here, lets take people for their word, and put more of a pos spin on stuff. |
