Try a pair of cloth work gloves the insulation may be keeping the heat from reaching your fingers

I bought a pair of medium weight waterproof gloves from North Face. My insulated gloves were insulating me from the heated grips. These have a synthetic grip material on palms and fingers which allows heat to transfer. Gloves are fairly windproof and dexterous so there is no problem with the controls. Low heat is all I've needed so far.

Here's what I have. They're great in cold weather.

When it is cold, like in the 40's I wear snowmobile gloves.
