I have been lurking and learning here for a while. I do not currently have a Vision, I have a Hamlmer. I plan on purchasing an 09 in the spring. I know that it has been affectionately called the "gay" color but having seen the new blue at the Oyster Run, an event in this neck of the woods, I really like it.

I have done some searching and can't seem to find anything on white walls. Can anyone tell me if they make white walls for the Vision? If so, what mfg?

Thanks in advance

Sitting in the sun beside the 10th, there was no choice. The blue did it....buy one and ride knowing you don't have to worry about your manhood. It's a great color in the sun.

And it's faster, smoother, and will last longer than those other colors.

I think the whole Ice Blue gay issue has been pretty much killed. When Victory released pictures a few months ago the color looked pretty light, almost a powder blue or lt baby blue. Must have been the lighting and/or equipment and/or the techniques that the photographer used. But based on these pictures the initial reaction was "its gay" and "its feminine" and the like. But since then they have been showing up on the dealers floors and the general consensus since then is that maybe it isn't as light colored as pictured. I think its safe to say the Ice Blue is now being accepted as being a "cool enough" color to be welcomed the Vision family.

Thank god that Victory got rid of the slowest color.....Supersteel Gray !!!!

White wall tires on a Vision??? About the only thing I can say is....um...uh....wow....
Would defintely want to at least see a photoshop of a Vision with white walls prior to purchasing and installing them. Personally I really doubt a Vision can pull off the white wall look. But this is just my humble opinion.

Ice Blue with white-walls...I'm sure no one with think that combo is gay...lol

Welcome to the site and hope you have money in the spring of 09 to get what you want. I'm just glad I am making "David" happy by buying up that slow Supersteel Gray bike that is bringing down the Vision Cool Quotion.

A hardy welcome to all who get the Vision! People who buy bikes because "everyone else has one" buy Harley's. I think the blue is unique and cool. The White walls are very retro and a perfect accent to the Ice Blue. When I first saw the color I thought of a 65 Bel Aire convertable with wide white walls and a continental kit. Are you thinking about painting the silver accents pearl white as well?

Gay used to mean "happy" when I was a kid. It would be pretty boring if there were only one color in this world. Ride what you like! And welcome.

I am old enough that the blue and white concept reminds me of the old chevys as well. The Vision reminds me of fins and fender skirts which I love. That is what my minds eye sees when I think about the white walls. Yes, thinking about powder coating the grab handles etc. white. I thought I would start with the tires and see how it felt.

One of my Dad's cars was a Ice Blue and Cream '58 Chevy BelAir. The Ice Blue Vision would look special with this color combination.....I think the '09 Kingpin does have this combo. With the chrome wheels and forks and other chrome this Vision would be awsome. Not sure I would go with white wall tires, but really would like to have someone make some finned exhaust tips. That would be !!!!!

I saw a Kingpin at the dealer that had that combo and that is what got me to thinking about the blue Vision. Don't know if it was a factory paint scheme. I figured I would start with the tires and see if I liked the look. That would be the easiest part to change rather that a powder coated part. I suppose you could replace a powder coated part as well but the tires seemed a bit more disposable.

You can get the Metzeler ME880 in Narrow and Wide White Wall.  I know a number of people that have used them on their Yamaha Ventures and a few other bikes and love them

hey i just did a national pole apparently gay men dont have or like white wall tires......
The blue is sexy looking on the Vision regardless of gender, its cool. I might have gotten it if some lucky bastard hadnt already thrown his money on the counter for it 20 minutes before I got there. My dealer only ordered one in blue with their early buy.
