For those of you that have not seen this Vision, it looks even better in person. Arlen Ness Las Vegas http://www.arlennesslasvegas.com/index.php/gallery/11

Dude, thats just ugly or as my co-worker would say thats FUGLY. Does it draw attention? SURE but just like Donald Trumps hair which draws attention too, its not GOOD attention. granted taste is a personal thing, but thats just a waste of a beautiful motorcycle.

Throw me on that band wagon, I think it would be better looking if it actually WAS on fire !

I would like to see it in person before making a judgment, the stock Vision was the same way for me, not ugly, just different. I loved the new look of a motorcycle in pictures but it was something to get use to. Once I saw it in person it was down right beautiful. As most of us love the look of a motorcycle, but the Vision goes beyond that beauty. Anyway, If I was to customize like that, I would have taken all the buttons off the center console and relocated them out of sight. I think it detracts from the scheme with big rubber remote buttons sticking up.

I have seen it, and it is a waste of paint. I think they want 42000.00 for that mess.

I too have seen it in person and to say the least it is just a little over the top. They priced it at $42K and another customized Vision at $39K, with all the custom parts simply being bolt on and no fabrication being done that means that the biggest chunk of the price difference must be in the paint and that paint just isn't worth that kind of money in my opinion, but they're in Las Vegas and you what they say about a sucker being born every minute.

Well, by no means would I buy it, and the price is a little over for nothing else extra. I waiting to see what aftermarket body parts will be offer. They tried the stickers or whatever they call them and they are no longer available and the ink ain't even dry in the catalog. But the Vision has a great potential in moding without changing the Vision image. It'll just take some creative geniuses to make it work. On this though, for the price they should have lowered and maybe skirted it to give it a more bold look.

I would like to see a solid console panel and relocated module for the buttons found there like on the upper right bar. On/Off and the station buttons is all you need, the rest is found on the left bar. I'd stick the other switches on the bar itself like the scroll button and cutoff button. I think it can be done.

But, I think someone will buy the Flamed Vision just because it is a Ness production.

I love flame paint jobs and that one misses the mark for me. I have seen way better true fire paint jobs.

A little to much for my taste. When I brought my Vision to work a co-worker asked if I was going to apply decals to my bike.
I asked him do you put stickers on paintings in the museum?

Looks like something you would see lurking the outskirts of a herd of zebra and wildebeests during migration on the Sarengeti in Tazmania.

Since its Vegas, ( and don't get me wrong Vegas is my second home) some goof will hit some jackpot , get drunk, stumble into the ness store and plunk down cash. Then just like waking up after a night of drinking and an ugly woman sleeping next to you he will look in his garage, only this one he can send home !

The paint scheme detracts from the lines of the bike. Custom paint is suppose to compliment the lines of the medium to which it is applied. This looks like the painter had an effect in mind and disregarded the canvas he put it on. He could have just as easily sprayed a lawn tractor and it might have even looked better.

That being said, yes, everyone has their own taste, and this will fulfill someone's taste. More power to 'em.

Simply over done! Looks ok from a few angles but the side view is a little over the top. 42K ???? What are they smoking?

I've always liked True Fire flames ever since Mike Lavallee made them famous.  They have to be done right though.  From a distance, these flames totally mask the smooth lines of the bike and chop it up.  I do like the flame coming out from the rear of the seat (3rd photo).  I wouldn't want to keep that solid front wheel polished.

You know what would have been better than the flames? Have you ever scene the paint jobs that look like lightning? Now that in a blue color would look pretty cool on this bike.

What do you guys think?

I love the airbrush work on this bike. It shows talent even if it makes the bike butt-azz ugly.

I'd take it a bike show and I bet it could win. However, I'd trailer it since I hate to be seen riding it.

Being a Vision owner that felt that his only option was trailering!? Now that would truly suck.
