| Made good progress replacing the broken fairing pieces and lower frame on my 2013 VV. Getting ready to install the leg fairings. I am not sure why there were 3 white plastic shims (2 on rt/ 1 on left) laying on top of the leg fairing support. Don't believe I lost any of the shims but why 3? Maybe it will be apparent when I start installing the leg fairings. Just thought I'd ask to see if anybody knows.
Thanks,
Mike

| Just put mine back together for the second time, and I have 2 on R, 1 on L. These are BELOW the front mounting tab on the 'legs.'
I too have always wondered about that, but it looks like it's SOP since you have the same setup. |

| Thank you for the responses. Just wanted to add a little more to maybe help the next guy. Read on another site that the shims are for taking up the gap between top of leg fairing(s) and bottom of the fairing pieces with the turn signals. Makes sense to me.
