| Has anyone mounted a gallon or larger, water bottle or cooler to a rear floorboard and run a tube with a
bite valve forward? I've seen some long distance riders set up like this and if a Vision rider has done it, I'm looking for equipment ideas and mounting tips. This is part of my prep for the Butt Lite 8 rally in July. Thanks! |

Posts: 62 Eagan, MN United States | yeah, I've just used my cup holder. However with an IBA Lite Rally, I see why you might want more available. The only Victory that I know of to have completed the Iron Butt Rally was piloted by Connie Gabrick. She has an auxiliary tank on the passenger seat for the IBA rally's. I haven't seen her full setup for the rally in person though. Looking at some of her pics it looks like the aux tank has a cover that attaches to it and on one side has a holder for a 1 Gal or so jug? The jug's weight looks to be partially held by the grab handles. I'm not sure if the cover and attaching jug is something that was available for the aux tank or something that she repurposed. |

| Rowebote, thanks!
I'll look for some pics of her bike and see if I can find her and reach out to her. |

| without a pump how do you think you can suck water UP HILL.
Put a camelback on your back. Now you have to stop every 200 miles unless you add a spare gas tank.
There was a member here name Rollin that has done more iron butt rides then you can imagine. His favorite trips are to Alaska 4 times I think.
He has extra gas but that's only when he can't stop every 200 miles |

| The last picture is Rob. He's an IBR finisher. Sure, I could ask for info on Honda forums or BMW forums or even HD forums. But since I'm on a Vic, it seemed reasonable to start here. Didn't think this was a political topic. By the way, according to the Iron Butt Association Fall/Winter magazine, there were NO Vic finishers in the 2015 IBR. |

Posts: 62 Eagan, MN United States | Connie finished in the 2013 rally and did not ride this years. I think she qualified for the 2013 really by completing the Butt Lite in 2012. Here's a link to a pic of Connie leaving at the start of the rally. You can see her setup. I'm not sure if there are more pics but this is from the official picture link on the iba 2013 site.

And I wouldn't get to worried about what others think. The rally and how you have to setup your bike is different than other ld rides even the ones Rollin has done. That said I don't think there are a lot of victory's that have competed and only Connie has finished one so there might not be a lot of knowledge or experience on Victory sites. |

| Expecting to do somewhere around 6K to 7K miles over the course of the 7 day Butt Lite, in July, plus the ride to Denver before and after. Should be drinking a lot of water. But maybe you were thinking of something like this? http://www.sneakyleaker.com/Original.html |
