| I'm SO happy I got my new brake pedal to replace the little peg I don't really care for on my Vision but, even though the instructions say to use vice grips to loosen the old peg up, it doesn't budge! Not a bit...almost makes me wonder if it's one whole piece. So I need the groups wisdom again.
On another topic, I stopped at my local Vic dealer today to check on the still-back-ordered parts for my bike and one of the salesman mentions that the 2015 Black with brown seat and bags Indian Vintage I'm oogling can be had for $15 grand. Seems some lady won it at the casino and wasn't interested in it. Original price tag had a price of $19,999 so I didn't think a $5,000 price drop was too bad. |

Posts: 119 CASTRO VALLEY, CA United States | As I can recall, you have to muscle the stock brake pedal off. Mine surprisingly came off pretty easy. Yours on the other hand being 7 years old might be a little more difficult. Good Luck!
Regarding the Indian, I'm beginning to see the 2015 models being discounted by $2000 off MSRP (except the Scout). |

| Were you able to loosen it up with the rubber still on it or do I need to cut that off?
I took a test ride on a Road Master when my shop first started carrying them and, other than being surprised at how "small" it felt, I was totally impressed by the torque from that motor. Wouldn't mind one at all...

| I got it off in about 2 minutes after I tightened the vise grips enough. I was worried about tearing the rubber or braking the thing off all together. I'm hoping to take it for a test ride this afternoon so I can make sure I have the angle set right. |

| you have to clamp the vice grip down real tight and turn counter clockwise |

| Yep, I got'er off ok. It was more "me" than how tight it was. |

| Be happy to. It feels as good as I was hoping it would. If I remember to, I'll post a picture of it installed. I do think the mounting bracket is a bit unsightly but you don't see it at all when you're riding the thing, so there you go. It's well worth the price. |
