| I'm not even sure that's what they're called either. One of the few quibbles I have about the Vision is the 3 or 4 switches on the front of the console. Grip warmer, Hazard and HID switches are what I'm talking about. Anyway, I've always thought Victory should have used lighted switches so I don't have to hunt for them in the dark when I'm riding. I need to replace the Grip switch because I have Hi and Low but no "off". Has anyone here ever replaced theirs with a lighted unit if they even make such a thing? I hitting one of my local car parts stores tomorrow but I was wondering.

| I replaced mine with a lighted switched from an auto parts store. I only replaced the non functioning one and uses it as a kill switch for my Amp. It will need a little trimming to fit flush though |

| The grip switch has an off -- it's the center postiion, neither end down.
Owners manual page 27?
I agree they should have illumination. |

| The "off" position on my switch no longer works for some reason. Riding around with it "on" all the time, this time of year, is fine but it'll get a bit too toasty during the summer. |

Posts: 196 Asheville, NC | I noticed mine sticking in the on position while riding this weekend. I would recommend a spray lube for electrical contacts like LPC, non conductive contact cleaner.
As for lighted switches, I am toying with the idea of back lit led in something other than stark white color in the hope that the emitted light will come around the toggle. Then memory would have to work for what switch does what. I do have plans for the blanked switch hole. |

OTTO has a chart on their website for deciphering the part# you want....cannot remember if lighting is an option for the smaller switch size but it's worth a look if you want a switch that will pop right in. |

| I looked at the OTTO site and didn't see any "backlit" switches though there ARE switches that seem to light up when you use them. Like you, I'd like something that helps me to see the switches so I don't have to hunt for them in the dark. |

| Can you run a LED strip across the top of the switches for lighting and pull power from a switch? This way you have light 24/7 and it powers off with the ignition. |

| I hit my local auto parts store today and they had some rocker switches that light up when the power's on but without having the stock switches with me I don't know that they're the same size. I thought LED's might be a bit too bright also and was curious to check out those "effects" lights, if that's what they're called. |
