I didn't think it would do it so easily when i first tried it. Probably could cut a smiley face and dot the eyes with out to much effort. Again i expect to get a lashing from many that dont approve, but it is not like i do this all the time. |

I will check and see what we have for bugslide. I know we carry the regualr spray bottle and it is usually $20.
But give me a chance to see what i can come up with. |

Posts: 725 Reno County, KS | Screw the lashing, that's the ONLY approved way to finish off a nearly gone rear tire. Probably the easiest way to knock the slick off of a new one too. I'll be killin' off the rest of my tread in town on Main when it's time for a new one. I'll probably end up on my a$$ in front of everyone when it blows out. You're right, there will probably be some lashing out by the GTC's (Garage Trophy Collectors) when they see someone actually using the bike for--fun. OMG! Any actual plans for the aforementioned smiley face? It would be a nice gesture if you did it in front of an HD dealership. It would be like burning "Have a NICE day!" into their pavement. And I'm sure we all want them to have a nice day. :-) |

Posts: 849 , FL United States | David, maybe I'm not coordinated enough but I have a hard time figuring out how to full throttle while holding the front brake closed. Little help for the "old Geezer"? |

Posts: 404 San Antonio, TX United States | There is no full throttle involved here. I just used my first finger and thumb around the throttle and the other three fingers pulled in the front brake lever after i set it all the way out so it would not pinch my first finger underneath the lever. Only reved the engine up around 2 grand and eased the clutch out while keeping the throttle adjusted up near the 2,000 2,500 range. Did not have to rev the engine hard and drop the hammer to get it to smoke. It just reminded me of how much power is put to the ground with a stock engine. |

Right hand brake only works on the front wheel.
Ok since I am a grown man and got over buying tires when I was much younger.
I am going to say it.
'smoking or burning tires'
childish!
and
silly
But, hey it aren't my bike and tires.
