Posts: 266 Hartland, , WI | I took my bike to work the other day...I get a company car but it was too nice so I took the Vision...and ended up getting my client to play hooky in the afternoon and we went for a scenic tour...gorgeous in SW Wisconsin in the fall.
First time we road together but I knew he was a big HD rider and we talked about bikes all the time. I followed him to his house and was going to tell him about this awesome non-scratching bug wax (McGuires) that I use to get off bugs from the windshield...and before I can tell him he walks up to my Vision and sprays this stuff on my windshield, front of the fairing and wipes all the bug guts and stuff off in about 10 seconds! It was UNREAL! I never had seen a product that good.
Anyway...I emailed him on Sunday and asked him what the hell that stuff was and more importantly where I can get it. I saw him yesterday at a meeting and he walks in with a spray bottle of BUGSLIDE. It also comes with it's own special soft micro-fiber towel and he gives it to me.
On the side of the bottle is this website and you can order online...$20 and it ROCKS!
Thought I'd share the news. The website even has the ability to look up a dealer near you!

If so I'll see you maybe Friday afternoon or Saturday. Wait, would you cut me deal if you do? I want the package value deal offline with small bottle, big bottle and so on for $50, but if you got it on sale I'll be there. Cool, maybe my Bentley will now look like I never ride it, and only my tire changer will know for sure. Thanks Vinner man! |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Bugs? And here I thought my Vision just 'shed' them. I guess us people in the Pacific Northwest are lucky we don't have bug problems. I might catch 4 or 5 small splats on a daylong ride - certainly never been anything I would need a special product for. Nice to know a good one exists, tho - if I ever get into bug country. We worry more about rain splats..... |

I thought you had misquito's the size of quarters...I lost a pint of blood one week fishing in Canada...I figured you'd have plenty of bugs...lol. |

Worse case is the odd yellowjacket finding it's way into the house - and have to be shoo'ed out. Two legged bugs are more fearsome, but they won't let you use stuff like 'bugslide' on them. Can't even use bullets... |
