Posts: 320 Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | LG doesn't allow the use of ringtones, not easily anyway. My hubby just got an LG Shimmer, and we are having a dog of a time using ringtones on it. Here is answers to the LG env:

| send a .wav or .mp3 file to your phone as a pix message. Just email your phone with the file as an attachment and you will have the option to save it as a ring tone. to email your phone as a pix message send an email to your phone's number (including area code) at VZWPIX dot COM. (sorry, this site won't let me post if I put the address properly, you can figure it out though :p) ring tone ends after 30 seconds so cut down the file to 30 seconds or less before you send it to avoid filling up your phone's memory. |

Posts: 320 Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | OK, I just got ringtones to work on hubby's LG. I downloaded Sound Taxi, removed the DRM constraints, loaded them to my BlackBerry, then Bluetoothed them to hubby's phon (he left his data cable at the office).
