I downloaded the Victory Ringtone (exhaust sound) to my computer.  I can play it on my computer, however, I can't figure out how to get it installed on my phone.

How do I do it guys?

Lots of variables here.....

What model phone do you have? Also probably gonna need the model number.

And there is also the possibility that it might not be possible to do this on your particular model phone.

LG doesn't allow the use of ringtones, not easily anyway. My hubby just got an LG Shimmer, and we are having a dog of a time using ringtones on it. Here is answers to the LG env:

send a .wav or .mp3 file to your phone as a pix message. Just email your phone with the file as an attachment and you will have the option to save it as a ring tone.

to email your phone as a pix message send an email to your phone's number (including area code) at VZWPIX dot COM. (sorry, this site won't let me post if I put the address properly, you can figure it out though :p)

ring tone ends after 30 seconds so cut down the file to 30 seconds or less before you send it to avoid filling up your phone's memory.

OK, I just got ringtones to work on hubby's LG. I downloaded Sound Taxi, removed the DRM constraints, loaded them to my BlackBerry, then Bluetoothed them to hubby's phon (he left his data cable at the office).
