What are your must have accessories that you would add to a "touring premium package"?

Smitty's thread about getting a Vision "with the accessories he wants" got me wondering.

If you are single and ride alone...nothing. If you have a passenger much of the time, and ride with friends that have touring bikes also, then I would suggest the luggage rack and CB/Intercom. The CB/Intercom went on my bike two weeks after I got it, and the luggage rack was purchased after our first long weekender. You can get along just fine without either, but both make a great bike even better.

Much like the other, long-running thread of the same topic, I'm all for whatever accessories that everyone wants, as long as they make them all optional so I don't have to pay an extra $5-8k for a bunch of stuff that I don't really want on my bike.

Well, I may not be done for the long haul on accessories.

I may add Stage one's in the future if I don't like the quiet. But having pipes on my Duc, my MV Agusta, and my Kingpin I think I'll enjoy hearing the wind and once in awhile the radio.

I may add an intercom system if the wife decides she'd like to ride more.

And I may get a few pcs. of chrome, but not many if any, the first might be the luggage rack.

I pretty much like what I've got.

Must haves over improvements, hmmm. I am a Geek and made a decision matrix when setting out to buy a tourer about 7 months ago. Pretty much all my requirements were met, with the vision. Things I had on it were cruise, adjustable wind shield, radio, comfortable seating position, floorboards, good storage capacity, six speed, powerful motor, 6 gallon or better gas tank, and etc. Maybe make the seat able to accept a backrest as a standard. Hmm... can't think much of anything that would not probably be better off as an accessory rather standard equipment. I put just about everything you can on the bike, but find some I use a lot and others I hardly ever use.

Blondes are high maintenance items. I'd much rather have photon torpedos.

I've been racking my brain, really. The only think I want for the Bentley is what a Bentley should have, a leather seat! Being able to remove the Geezer Pack to make it the Super Stud Sonic Soarer with Passenger backrest and Luggage Rack is the best feature of this bike. I'm equiped with the luggage rack on the trunk pack as well as the bags in the bags, which gives more room. NO Highway pegs or clear wings for me. The only thing I really do want but I can't have is Inride Refueling. Hmmmm, I wonder if I could fit another 5 gallons in that Geezer Pack and run a hose and valve....

I put a solo seat on a Road Star that I owned a bit ago.  I really liked the seat and I really liked the nostalgic look.  I wish one was available for the Visiion on this order -

You know, liking the looks of the Vision S4 (Super Stud Sonic Soarer aka Street) It would look great with a solo seat. All it would take is extending out that panel thing and the base piece to ride under it to the rear clip. I can see it and it looks great! Then it would be the S5 Super Stud Sonic Solo Soarer!

I like that seat also, seems you need to use the appropriately Given Name to your ride there VAbouttopost1000messagesryder, that would be "Bentley Vision S4" Feel free to use the S4, S5, S6 additions to the different styles of the Bentley, please define each so we all know.

I added the S1/L1 pipes and it has completely changed my bike in a great way. IMHO it doesn't impact my ability to hear the radio and makes the bike sound like a MC instead of a Goldwing.

I also added the GPS which has kept me on track on the longer trips. Get the Garmin 2720 which wires right into your bike and can be found for $100 on ebay. What I love about this is I can remove it from the bike and link it to my laptop to create a new route.

My blondes come standard with photon torpedo's, and yes you do have to keep them polished.
