After all you do seem to have some type of great answer for everything.
I'll start....
Do sheep shrink when it rains?
Where did the Great Lakes get thier names? I mean...I understand Lake Michigan. But what about all of the others?
Are you EVER gonna find a place to put your Hot Pocket?
Whats the second smallest state after Rhode Island?
Do they have cartoons in Canada? |

Do sheep shrink when it rains?
No, but they will if you toss them into the dryer afterwards.
Where did the Great Lakes get thier names? I mean...I understand Lake Michigan. But what about all of the others?
Huron - Came from the French word for the Indian tribes that inhabited the area. Legend has it it's a derogratory term
Superior - Named by a French explorer, apparently because it is superior to the other great lakes on the map, that is, the most northwesterly. Not sure I buy that one...
Erie - Named after the Indian tribe that lived there, who were in turn named for the Indian word meaning "long tail" for the feline cat tail they wore on their headdresses.
Ontario - Named for the Huron word that means "big lake."
Michigan - Chippewa word for "big lake."
Are you EVER gonna find a place to put your Hot Pocket?
Good question. My suggestion would be to leave it in the freezer. Yuck
Whats the second smallest state after Rhode Island?
Delaware. Third would be Connecticut.
Follow-up question: What state has the longest name?
Do they have cartoons in Canada?
Well, duh. Everyone knows the only thing the Canucks watch is hockey. |

Do sheep shrink when it rains? I dunno, never hung around long enough to find out. They smell like a dirty old carpet though.
Are you EVER gonna find a place to put your Hot Pocket? Every time I get it warm, my Teenager comes along and eats it. I agree also, not so tasty, but the teens love'em.
Looks like the other questions have been answered, please try again, with another set and I will see If I can get to them, first. |

A Toronto woman walked away with thousands of dollars in prize money and "bragging rights" after being crowned the 2008 Yahoo! Rock Paper Scissors World Champion over the weekend. New Yahoo! Rock Paper Scissors World Champion Monica Martinez celebrated her win in Toronto after being awarded the championship trophy and a cheque for $10,000. (Yahoo! Canada)

On what side of a pollo are the most feathers? Perhaps a quiz......? Hopefully for Po only? Lets say you are driving a school bus. At the first of six stops you pick up seven children under twelve years old. Four boys and three girls. At the second of the six stops two boys get off the bus and nine children get on the bus. Five girls and four boys. Two of the boys are over twelve years old. At the third of the six stops four girls and one boy get off the bus and three children get on the bus. This time its two girls and one boy. The two girls are both eight years old. At the fourth of the six stops none of the children get off the bus. But seven children over five years old get on the bus. These seven children consist of four boys and three girls over six years old. At the fifth and almost final stop two boys over four years old and six girls get off the bus. And three boys get on the bus. At the sixth and final stop two children get off the bus. And eight boys over thirteen years old and four girls less than ten years old get on the bus. What color are the school drivers eyes?

I think it needs to be shut down immediately, no, removed immediately to include all frilious post counts. Do Net Racey, besides you, I only know one of one famous Canuck, and that is Paul Shaffer of late night fame. Plus, I did work with a North Carolina Canuck, and my brother married one and now lives down here. My wife and I are talking about taking a trip to Alaska, but I'm sure I would need a Canuck sponsor for safe passage. Since I have so many Canuck Connections, do you think you could talk with the prime minister to see if we can pass unimpeded? We promise to check guns at the border and pick them up on the way out. JAM, Miles, I want to report a misposted post. Will you please remove all evidence of this one? Sincerely, Captain Nemo, USS Nautilus

Dance class, fill up wife's mustang, grab rest of crew and go coach 6-10 year olds in soccer, get home fix some din din, baths, put to bed, grab laptop and make a few posts before bedtime, which I am so far past. 4:30 comes so friek'in early. See you in the AM. Congrats to the main dude varyder 13 posts away and I gave it a go. Otherwise, I'll finish in the morning just to go over the mark, kinda like VAryder in his miles, gotta keep going just to get there. Adios amigos, till tomorrow. |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Well varyious, milestone zero is not far from my place. And Alaska is a mere skip and a jump north. So if you want to set a 'milestone' do it here, and it carries over into Alaska. And the bonus is, Po' doesn't get any if he don't come.
And in Kanada, carrying guns might warrent a tsk tsk and please pick them up on your way out - so don't worry bout that.
If ya come up this way, me and Co-pilot would be happy to put you up for a nite or two....
But your dancing buddy - well, he probably wouldn't do so well on our 'real' mountain roads. 'Cept maybe in a Hummer..... <grin>
Good luck to the First Starship Officer !

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Yes, the tutu goes into the tour pak, I'm a little sensitive about being seen at the grocery store dressed in my best. However, they don't seem to make a good tutu for a grown man, I seem to have a problem with the big boy parts and embarrassing the adult female instructor who is like 18 or 19. Makes for a good time though! Last I heard they were trying to put me in a part where I could wear the chicken suit and not look like man with a stick when I make my big leap. Still working on the whole Sachey and pointey toes thing. The splits are absolutely killer on the man boys. But other than that, I LOVE IT! |

We would never hide anything from the VAmilitarymanryder. Sandman is a longtime accomplice that I meet nightly. I sure do get to saw the logs, its a workout, but it works. Lotzafun is as his name implies merely an innocent victim caught up in all the comraderie, lookin for a lot of fun. He's about as innocent as a Rooster playing possum, so he can have his way with the buzzards who get to close.
As for the quiz, what was the color of the school bus and why am I on a school bus full of geriatric supporters for Depends and Viagra. Sometimes, I don't understand how the whole school system works. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | You know really, we should be able to graduate at kindergarten and skip the rest. Wait, what am I saying, school was pretty cool, it was all that homework and tests and hall passes that stunk. I lived out in the country and I rode to school with a girl everyday that could drive and I would share the gas cost. I could tell a few more stories but you all would find out way too much about me. The school system, what system? School, depends what angle you look at it, I thought it was a blast. Hey Po, is that bus the short one? Depends and Viagra, those are Tennesee's greatest imports; see I know a little. |

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Geee, Varidindownadirtroadtoyoungtoknowbetterryder - I lived out in the country too, but never had that chance to ride (with) a girl to school. The system that is currently pushing my Senior through, yet he knows nothing, don't do homework, and it's OK. I was contemplating last night how to address the board or become a member of it. It is ridiculous, what the teachers are being forced to put up with. Yes, it is the short one, only room for a handful of folks from this board who shall remain nameless. You know like - sandman, lotzafun, Varyder, DesertJim, BuckN8kd (when he shows up at the stop), cjnoho, Songfan (keep him he's the sane one, like a little control on the bus)!!! You have to be approved to ride and have the bus modified for your seat. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | donetracey - 2008-10-28 3:26 PM Come on guys !!! GO GO GO You seem to be stuck in the 99x's - let's GO GO GO ! Hey, Don, just like my miles, I don't try to trump up my post counts. I've monitored Po for quite a while and find that in actuality he should only have about 600 posts as some are just frivilous postings, some with just one word each and he expells a whole paragraph. There is a name for that on other forums, but it hasn't, thankfully, caught on over here. As for me, I can't seem to be quiet and as I have been caught here, I must watch what I say. It took my wife nearly twenty years to figure out when I was joking and when I serious, but for those twenty years she gets very little breaks. I'm reminded that I could talk the ears off a billy goat. One day I'll understand that one, but the forum is like part of a roullette wheel and when I land here my fingers can't stop typing. Funny thing is I've put enough words here in useless order that if I was to take them and arrange them to make sense I might have a best selling novel. Until then, I'll dribble on and hoping for the Forum Bib Award for useless dripples and high post count. The bad thing is that I always like for the other guy to win, so I might hold fast and go into hiatus at 999, so my poor buddy squidly in Tennessee can catch up. I got to give it to him though he can say <brand removed> on here and not get attacked. I've got my auto filter on so that if I type "<brand removed" then it gets replaced with <brand removed> to avoid misunderstanding in stating facts to an issue. My guess is that while I'm typing this, takjokum (Korean) is surpassing me in the post count to take my bib away from me. |
