I've had this on-going problem for a couple of years. The black plastic inserts on the top of the trunk lid develop a white haze. If I use some spray shine it goes away for a little while, but then comes back worse. The bike is garaged and kept clean and waxed. Local dealer suggested a product called "Resolution Restorer" available at NAPA, called dealer in Jacksonville and parts guy there recommended MacGuire's black (stuff). Any suggestions? Thanks!

are you putting "wax" on it? That will turn white.
why not clean it with rubbing alcohol and paint it

Mine does this too. I use 'Back to Black' on it sometimes, but it comes back. I heard another product called Forever Black lasts much longer, but I haven't tried it yet. I once tried black shoe dye, but it didn't last either.

I think I found the solution. I got some McGuires 'Black" at Auto Zone and it seems to be working well.
For $10 bucks it was an easy fix.
