| Here is what Jeff posted on home page "Extensive wind tunnel R&D went into the Cross Country/Road motorcycles"
I have never read or found any articals saying that Polaris/Victory did any wind tunnel testing. Mater of fact if you read any cross country forum thats the #1 complait wind buffiting. I would think if they did any testing these guys wouldn't be complaing about buffiting |

Glendale, AZ United States | Part of the course of having a fork mounted front fairing. I personally am a big fan of the frame mounted front fairing, which is why I own the Vision as opposed to anything else in the Victory lineup. |

| Hope they do some wind tunnel testing on the next generation of Vision. If they don't then BMW will begetting ahead of them. That's who they say it compeats with. |

| A different windshield on the XC eliminates the buffeting. I had a 2013 and used a Mad Stad windshield |

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Just installed a MadStad windshield on my '15 XC tour and I didn't have any buffeting with the stock windshield. I chose to swap to the MadStad for the adjustability and the ability to see over the shield instead of through it. |

Posts: 180 Georgia On My Mind.... United States | I read somewhere that Victory actually hired a BMW guy to design the fairing on the Vision.
I can say, with over 100,000 miles on my faired Beemers, that the Vision fairing is just as good or better than anything they have ever offered.
The Vision fairing certainly performs as if it was wind tunnel developed so I'm thinking it probably was.

Posts: 249 Montreal, QC Canada | I remember reading about wind tunnel testing before I got my 08. Kyle Petty was somehow involved and used the Vision on 1 or 2 of his charity runs. Pretty sure it was tested in the Petty Nascar tunnel.

Posts: 26 Loveland, CO United States | Google Search with "victory vision wind tunnel testing" brings lots of non-forum references to wind tunnel design of the bike. I couldn't find anything on the corporate website though. Their search was only for parts and accessories. |

| Rode a Harley 2014 Water head limited for 60 miles the other day and much less buffeting than my Vision. Still take the Vision! |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | weird i have NO buffeting on my vision at all... i guess rider height and how high you have the vision windshield raised or lower might make a difference |

| Not saying the Vision in bad, just that Harley had very still air behind the wind shield, Test ride one and you'l see what I mean. Love my Vision, just an interesting observation. |

| Not on the Harley, Vision does and it does stop the wind on the top of your head just fine. |
