I have one the original Visions delivered - August 2007 - and I finally replaced my battery today.

The Vision is my daily ride to work and it just turned over 96,000 miles last week, but the battery has been unreliable lately and I never knew if it would actually start or if I would have to take the truck to work or push start the behemoth. Even when I put it on a charger, the battery wouldn't hold a good charge to start the bike.

So I pulled the trigger today and got a lithium ion battery with about 230 cold cranking amps. Expensive! But it should last a while longer.

Sure is nice to hear that starter working well!

I guess 8 years is a good run for a battery...

I don't believe I have ever replaced my belt. If I did, it would have been because my wrench thought it needed it, and not because it broke.

It was a lithium-ion from Auto Zone. I was amazed at how light it was!
